Scuba Diving

We require a valid certification and logbook from every diver. If you submit a medical certificate, it should not be older than 2 years.

On the ship you tailor your diving needs to yourself. As an early riser you have the opportunity to go on an early morning dive. After breakfast together we go to the famous drop off reefs in the Red Sea and to the reefs that are still real insider tips. In the afternoon, wrecks are on the agenda, as are magical labyrinths, mysterious caves and magnificent underwater gardens. If you want to dive even more, you can end the day with a leisurely night dive. Support on board and under water is provided by professional dive guides. Everyone has years of expertise in the Red Sea and knows the reefs inside and out. Detailed briefings by the tour guide enable you to explore the sights of each dive site independently with your diving partner.

For diving on board, 12-liter aluminum bottles with a DIN valve (INT adapters are on board) and sufficient lead are available. All other equipment must be brought with you. There are hangers for the suits. The jacket remains attached to the tank throughout the liveaboard.
Divers with a smaller number of dives dive – in a small group – with more experienced divers or the tour guide.

Brother Islands and Marine Park Tours

For the underwater national parks (Brother Islands, Daedalus, Rocky Island and Zabargad) 50 logged dives are required. Night diving is generally prohibited there. Entering the islands of Zabargad and Rocky Island is also not permitted.
The national park surcharge for the Brother Islands is from/to HRG Euro 100,-, from/to Port Ghalib Euro 120,-, and for the marine park tours Euro 150,-. The fee is collected on site.

Diving safety

Deco diving is strictly prohibited and the maximum diving depth is 40 m.
In the event of a diving emergency, there are two 50 liter oxygen bottles with accessories and a first aid kit on the ship.

We recommend taking out special insurance that will cover your rescue, pressure chamber costs, hospital stay and transport home in the event of a diving accident or other illness.
