BROTHER ISLAND 

Now who is the prettier brother? Many people think that the larger one is a bit more ahead because of its wreckage and is more attractive: the Aida II and the Numidia have found their final resting place here and are as beautiful as they never were in their “lifetime”. Both mutated into blooming gardens, one can only guess where the wreck ends and the reef begins. The Numidia on the more unprotected north side was completely destroyed by the force of the water. It is also called a train wreck because of its cargo. The bow lies in shallow water, from a depth of around 15m you can see the hull. Beautifully overgrown rails automatically pull you into the depths, so be careful! The screw lies beyond good and evil at an impressive 80m.

The reef has a very high concentration of life in a very small area. Coral forests, overhangs, hard and soft corals in a variety and with amazing colors... and of course there are lots of fish! Regular sightings of hammerhead sharks, thresher sharks, gray sharks, silky sharks and whitetip reef sharks can be expected at any time of the year.
